Danie Visser is currently the Technical Director of Mining and Surface Certification (Pty) Ltd. He is an IS technical specialist with accreditation for more than 30 explosion prevention and/or applicable techniques.
Danie heads the Intrinsic safety department and has been (and still is) involved in numerous Intrinsic safety equipment and system assessments and approvals.
Johan Petzer started his career as a Junior Electrician on the South African Railway, where he studied and registered as a MIE in 1996. After this he went on a career path in the food and beverage industry and ended as an electrical contractor in 2001 till 2019. In this time Johan furthered his studies to obtain his Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Currently Johan is the Managing Director of SALLAB, Explosion Prevention, with vast experience in the electrical industry.
Johan is a registered Pr.Techni.Eng. at the Engineering council or South Africa and is also an active member at SAFA and a firm believer that we should make the industry a safer place for all.
